In other words: bringing in a project completion 3 months ahead of forecast is impressive, but.... what did it mean to your employer ? When you describe this as: “completed major project 3 months ahead of forecast and saved £30,000 in contractor’s fees”, you have identified yourself as a skilled, motivated manager with an eye firmly on the bottom line . What recruiter wouldn’t want to discuss your approach to business in more detail at an interview?
