  Writing a CV Common CV error - number seventeen .   A  successful CV  or cover letter will be well written, concise, and accurate and will  present the information in an easy to understand format that is easy on the eye.   A rambling, conversational approach to writing your CV will not encourage the reader to continue their interest in the document and this will lead to its rejection.   Avoid the empty buzzwords :   dynamic, visionary, team player, focused and every other empty word or phrase that lacks supporting evidence.   Recruiters  want  proof and evidence of success and achievements  and these will not need dressing up in buzzwords.

  Writing a CV Common CV errors - number nineteen .   A  well written CV  should shine a light on the  key qualifications, achievements and successes  that you want to bring to the recruiters attention.   Do not expect them to work out why you may be the ideal candidate if you  bury the good stuff among the irrelevant .   Recruiters simply will not spend time unravelling mysteries and puzzles and trying to link together facts and clues from your CV.   The easy choice for a recruiter is to simply move on to a  CV that is better written and presented .
