CV Help - (Writing a CV) Common CV error - number seventeen. Tedious style
Writing a CV
Common CV error - number seventeen.
A successful CV or cover letter will be well written, concise, and accurate and will present the information in an easy to understand format that is easy on the eye.
A rambling, conversational approach to writing your CV will not encourage the reader to continue their interest in the document and this will lead to its rejection.
Avoid the empty buzzwords:
dynamic, visionary, team player, focused and every other empty word or phrase that lacks supporting evidence.
Recruiters want proof and evidence of success and achievements and these will not need dressing up in buzzwords.
